Al-Mursalat The Emissaries

-
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ عُرْفًا ١
77:1 By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another
-
فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصْفًا ٢
77:2 By the raging hurricanes,
-
وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا ٣
77:3 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive;
-
فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرْقًا ٤
77:4 By those who winnow with a winnowing,
-
فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا ٥
77:5 By those who bring down the Reminder,
-
عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا ٦
77:6 To excuse or to warn,
-
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ ٧
77:7 Surely that which ye are promised will befall.
-
فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ ٨
77:8 So when the stars are put out,
-
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ ٩
77:9 And when the sky is riven asunder,
-
وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ ١٠
77:10 And when the mountains are blown away,
-
وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ ١١
77:11 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed -
-
لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ ١٢
77:12 For what day is the time appointed?
-
لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ ١٣
77:13 For the Day of Decision.
-
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ١٤
77:14 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! -
-
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ١٥
77:15 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
-
أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ١٦
77:16 Destroyed We not the former folk,
-
ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ ١٧
77:17 Then caused the latter folk to follow after?
-
كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ١٨
77:18 Thus deal We ever with the guilty.
-
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ١٩
77:19 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
-
أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ ٢٠
77:20 Did We not create you from a base fluid
-
فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ ٢١
77:21 Which We laid up in a safe abode
-
إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ ٢٢
77:22 For a known term?
-
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَـٰدِرُونَ ٢٣
77:23 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging!
-
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٢٤
77:24 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
-
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا ٢٥
77:25 Have We not made the earth a receptacle
-
أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا ٢٦
77:26 Both for the living and the dead,
-
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا ٢٧
77:27 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein?
-
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٢٨
77:28 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
-
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ٢٩
77:29 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny;
-
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبٍ ٣٠
77:30 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold,
-
لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ ٣١
77:31 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame.
-
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ ٣٢
77:32 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles,
-
كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ ٣٣
77:33 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue.
-
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٣٤
77:34 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
-
هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ٣٥
77:35 This is a day wherein they speak not,
-
وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ ٣٦
77:36 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses.
-
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٣٧
77:37 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
-
هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٣٨
77:38 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together.
-
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ ٣٩
77:39 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me.
-
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٤٠
77:40 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
-
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ ٤١
77:41 Lo! those who kept their duty are amid shade and fountains,
-
وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ ٤٢
77:42 And fruits such as they desire.
-
كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٤٣
77:43 (Unto them it is said:) Eat, drink and welcome, O ye blessed, in return for what ye did.
-
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ٤٤
77:44 Thus do We reward the good.
-
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٤٥
77:45 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
-
كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ ٤٦
77:46 Eat and take your ease (on earth) a little. Lo! ye are guilty.
-
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٤٧
77:47 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
-
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ ٤٨
77:48 When it is said unto them: Bow down, they bow not down!
-
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٤٩
77:49 Woe unto the repudiators on that day!
-
فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ ٥٠
77:50 In what statement, after this, will they believe?
