At-Takasur Competition

1. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ ۝١

   102:1 Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you

2. حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ ۝٢

   102:2 Until ye come to the graves.

3. كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۝٣

   102:3 Nay, but ye will come to know!

4. ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۝٤

   102:4 Nay, but ye will come to know!

5. كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ۝٥

   102:5 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge!

6. لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ ۝٦

   102:6 For ye will behold hell-fire.

7. ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ۝٧

   102:7 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision.

8. ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ۝٨

   102:8 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure.
