Ad-Duha The Morning Hours

1. بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

   وَٱلضُّحَىٰ ۝١

   93:1 By the morning hours

2. وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ ۝٢

   93:2 And by the night when it is stillest,

3. مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ ۝٣

   93:3 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee,

4. وَلَلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ۝٤

   93:4 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former,

5. وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ ۝٥

   93:5 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content.

6. أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَـَٔاوَىٰ ۝٦

   93:6 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)?

7. وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّا فَهَدَىٰ ۝٧

   93:7 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)?

8. وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ ۝٨

   93:8 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)?

9. فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ ۝٩

   93:9 Therefor the orphan oppress not,

10. وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ ۝١٠

    93:10 Therefor the beggar drive not away,

11. وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ ۝١١

    93:11 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse.
